Introduction

ADX Projects was founded in 2005 by Ayanda Xintolo and started its operations in March 2006. The firm specialises in the Design and Management of Air-conditioning Installations, Wet Services, Fire Protection, Lifts & Escalators, Kitchen Equipment, Laundry Equipment and Electrical Installations.

The firm has been responsible for the design and management of various projects ranging from Retail, Leisure, Offices, Stadiums, Banks, Schools, Residential,Public Facilities and Industrial Parks.

Background

The Owner is a Registered Professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa with 20 years of experience in the built environment. He started at Improvair Pty Ltd in 1995 as an HVAC trainee engineer; an HVAC consultant from 1999 starting at Mncwango Shaw & Associates, Mncwango Pearce & Associates, Associate at RPP Inc and finally a partner at Xintolo Naicker & Scott Pty Ltd.

He has been involved in the design of various prestigious air-conditioning projects in the past under previous employment such as the ICC Durban Arena, Sibaya Casino (Incl. Amphitheatre and Conference centre), Suncoast Casino (Including the Cinemas and Conference Centre), The Gateway Shopping Mall, The Pavilion Phase 2 and 4 Extensions, Shallcross Shopping Mall, South Coast Mall and The Acropolis Mall, Unilever Offices, Albert Luthuli Hospital; Pricewaterhouse Coopers Offices, San Lameer Hotel, Robertsons Offices, Garlicke & Bousfield offices and Bridge city Shopping Centre (Conceptual)
